Current U.S. benchmark
CareCredit’s April 2026 guide reports an average of $15,176 per arch, with a published range of $11,640 to $27,500. That is a useful benchmark, not a universal price. Your quote can move outside the range based on geography, case complexity, prosthetic material and additional procedures.
Per arch matters. A full mouth usually means treating both the upper and lower arches, so a “per arch” number should not be mistaken for a two-arch total.
What changes the price?
- Final prosthesis material: acrylic/PMMA hybrid versus zirconia or other designs.
- Extractions: removing failing teeth may add surgical time and cost.
- Bone anatomy: some patients need grafting or alternative surgical planning.
- Anesthesia/sedation: included in some packages, separate in others.
- Imaging and digital planning: panoramic X-rays, CBCT and guides.
- Temporary vs final bridge: ask exactly which prostheses the price includes.
- Follow-up and repairs: especially important if treatment occurs away from home.

This is intentionally conservative: it uses CareCredit’s 2026 U.S. average as a starting anchor, then widens rather than pretending it can predict your real quote.

What should a complete quote say?
| Line item | What to verify | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Implants | Number, system/brand, components | A “four implant” package may still use different hardware and warranty terms. |
| Provisional bridge | Fixed or removable? Same-day criteria? | Immediate fixed teeth are not guaranteed for every patient. |
| Final bridge | Material, lab, delivery timing | Often one of the largest cost differences. |
| Imaging | Panoramic X-ray, CBCT, surgical guide | Planning quality and unexpected add-on fees. |
| Surgery | Extractions, grafting, sedation | These can turn a headline package into a much larger bill. |
| Aftercare | Adjustments, hygiene, repairs, emergency plan | Essential if you travel for treatment. |
